Why should I worry when I can face the world? by Shibu Nair Book Review:
Books that are relatable, and that actually provide practical tips to tackle real life problems, and situations are rare, and must reads for everyone. And Why should I worry when I can face the world? by Shibu Nair is one such book.
When I picked this book up to read, I was at a low point in my life, and frankly didn’t have high expectations from this book. But boy am I glad I read this amazing book!
Right from the start, I was hooked and assured that all the solutions to my problems lay inside. And this happened when I read the preface where the author talks about his childhood, and then his adulthood about how he went from a happy and carefree boy to an unhappy worrier.
All his examples, trials and tribulations all through the book hit so close to home that I felt soothed, and assured that I wasn’t the only one who was facing these problems.

There is chapter wise focus on each problem we all face at one or the other time in our lives. Right from the people-pleasing to worries of keeping up a socially acceptable image to gossips and rumours wreaking havoc on our peace, this book beautifully shows that we are not alone in our insecurities and worries by showcasing real experiences shared by people from all walks of life. And also gives solutions that they adopted to get peace and move forward.
I also adored the quotes, activities, and simple assessment, and solutions to each problem provided in each chapter.
