Initial impressions:
This book came so highly recommended that I could not wait to read it. And I am so glad I read it. I enjoyed it so much!
Also it reminded me of another romance I read and loved called “His Royal Highness” by R S Grey that was also set in a Disneyland style Theme Park with the owner falling in love with an employee just like Rowan does with Zahra. Though both books are pretty different too and I adored reading them both. So, go read “His Royal Highness” too!
Characters:
Rowan is a grump, and what a sexy, swoony grouch he is too!
So, I loved his character with his past demons, awkwardness, icy facade with a soft heart, his intense protectiveness towards Zahra, his yearning for her that broke my heart, and then his sweet gestures aimed at taking care of her.
He’s a grumpy billionaire who owns a theme park, is a grouchy boss who takes care of Zahra (his employee) when she gets sick, orders takeout and eats on the floor with her, takes her to New York on his private jet to meet her favorite author, takes her to see the snow for the first time, watches 17 different versions of “Pride and Prejudice“, and makes her ex choose between moving to Shanghai or getting fired. So swoon-worthy right!
So, he is a worthy hero with a heart of gold who had me rooting for him right from the start!

Zahra is a relatable heroine. So, her mistakes, heartbreaks, vulnerabilities, attraction towards Rowan, and her dream to become famous in her chosen field felt like things we all will relate too. Then her witty banter, slow burn chemistry, intense attraction, heartfelt emotional upheaval, and finally the surrender to their feelings had me sighing in pure delight!

I also enjoyed meeting the Kane brothers, and their past has me so intrigued. So, now I can’t wait to read their individual stories, and read how they fulfill the terms of the will.
Then Rowan’s father’s character is a case study in human psychology. His transition from a devoted husband, loving father to a drunkard who became a nightmare for his kids had my heart breaking.
You’ll learn that the best rewards come with the biggest consequences. Because nothing that great is given for free.

So, in short, this book is engrossing, entertaining, and oh so fun to read. I, especially, loved the beautiful book quotes that I eagerly highlighted and which will remain in my heart for a long long time.
All in all, The Fine Print by Lauren Asher is a romance that despite being a bit lengthy at almost 500 pages will keep you hooked throughout. I stayed glued to the pages until the very end loving each second spent reading it, and I am sure you will too.
