A hyped book, I was wary of reading this book and had been hoarding it on my shelves since last year. But then when I started reading it, OMG! I could not stop!
Absolutely adored this heartwarming, spicy, sexy, humorous, and memorable romance between two people who are poles apart in their personality, and lifestyles.
Things to lookout for:

-Strong sisterly bond
-Laugh out loud moments

Things I liked:
Right from the pretty book cover, intriguing blurb, and interesting book title, this book is captivating. Tessa Bailey’s vivid and immersive story telling had me easily transported to Westport. And I could visualise the cool salty air, the close community, the slow yet supportive lifestyle of the residents, and the colourful boats dotting the docks.
Then the beautifully done contrast between the fast LA life to the nosy yet laid back Westport lifestyle, the difference in the personas of the protagonists, and the disparity between the people of LA and this small fishing town had me totally engrossed throughout!

Then I fell for Piper’s younger sister, Hannah who is loyal, a music enthusiast, and so protective of her sister. Her devotion and support to Piper led her to leave everything behind and come with her to this nowhere town, and earned her my respect.
I also loved Brendan’s best friend Fox who is a ladies man but with hidden depths. And there is something brewing between him and Hannah. So, I am very eager to jump to read the next book “Hook, Line, and Sinker” now!
Things that could be better:
The only thing that I felt I wanted to see more was Piper’s mother’s viewpoint of her history in Westport, and her reaction to her daughter finding love there. Also wanted to see Piper’s step father’s reaction to her success. But sadly, that didn’t happen here. However, despite this I enjoyed this book and was left totally in love with this story.
Piper’s journey to finding her self and gaining happiness is an inspiring one that will bring tears of joy to your eyes!
