Sanjana and Karthik’s bachelorette and bachelor parties takes them and their friends to Goa and so starts this fun, breezy, emotional, and feel-good romance anthology. Three Indian romance authors have come together to bring a unique novel to the readers. With three interconnected novellas in one novel, this is the first time I have read a story of this kind. And I am so glad I picked this book up to read!
The first novella is “Hatefully Yours” by Alisha Kay and is based on “enemies-to-lovers” trope. Two people who have been enemies for a long time due to misunderstandings finally realise that they actually love each other!
Then the second novel is “Sinfully Yours” by Shilpa Suraj and is based on “celebrity romance”, “one night stand” and “in hiding” trope. A celebrity running from scandal, grief, and the paparazzi finds solace and love in the arms of a spunky bar tender with secrets of her own.
Finally, the third novel Deceitfully Yours by Andaleeb Wajid is based on “fake dating” trope. So, this is the story of the to-be-married couple, Karthik and Sanjana. Pretend couple, they find true love and a happily-ever-after with each other when they realise that what they have been looking for has been in front of them this whole time.

I have read and enjoyed romances by Shilpa Suraj, Alisha Kay, and Andaleeb Wajid in the past. So, when I heard that they had come together for a new romance novel, I just had to read it and I am so glad I did!
A virtual Goan Holiday with its scenic beaches, sparkling night life, and fun atmosphere, I adored following the characters as they fumbled, fell, and then stood up to find true love!
This is a novel that has three novellas inside but the stories connect beautifully in the end to give the readers a coherent and engrossing experience.
The writing styles, while unique to each author, are all same in some respects like the language is simple, narration engrossing, and world building vivid and realistic.
Each couple is different and their love situation faces different challenges. But all stories are fun, breezy, emotional, and memorable.
The authors have also touched on sensitive topics like suicide, depression, sexual stigma, and familial and social pressure on youngsters to conform to a set mould.
I also found a few heartfelt quotes that I instantly highlighted and saved for later.
“So what does that make you to me?” she asked. “Friends with benefits, boyfriend, partner?” “Yours,” he said, quietly. “It makes me yours.”

Things that could be better:
The stories are short and so at times seem a bit rushed. Then the ending in all of them while given a closure still leaves many avenues open like I wanted to know what happened when Karthik and Sanjana faced their parents and told them their decision. Or when Dani faced her parents and told them of her decision, or when Aditi and Manan shared their relationship with their families.
However, despite this, this is a fun, enjoyable, and quick romantic read perfect to get away from the monotony of daily life and experience multiple facets of romance in one novel!
