Book Review:
The Lawman Returns by Lynette Eason starts a new series and I was attracted towards it because of the blurb.


The story plunges the reader straightaway in suspense and mystery and had me sitting on the edge of my seat throughout.


 The hero is home to solve the murder of his brother and seeks the help of a social worker who was also his brother’s friend. Soon it becomes evident that they are dealing with some dangerous people and their lives are in danger.


I enjoyed the multi-layered mystery that connected so many dots and often left me speculating. While I solved the mystery before the end, it in no way lessened my interest in the book.


Lynette’s writing style is fluid and she kept me engaged in the story throughout and then left me wanting to read the next ones in the series.

All in all, The Lawman Returns by Lynette Eason is a suspenseful story that kept me glued to my seat throughout. 4 out of 5 to it and recommended to all romantic suspense and mystery lovers.
