A Thousand Seeds of Joy by Ananda Karunesh Book Summary:

A Thousand Seeds of Joy by Ananda Karunesh is a book unlike any that I have ever read.

In this book, the author claims to have had direct conversations with two Hindu Goddesses, Lakshmi and Saraswati about social issues, women empowerment and the true reason behind the sometimes confusing and other times controversial actions of many historical characters from epics like Mahabharat and Ramayan.

A Thousand Seeds of Joy by Ananda Karunesh Book Review:

First Impressions:

At first glance, I was attracted by the cover and title. The blurb is a bit confusing but still I wanted to give this book a try.

Aspects where I maintain a neutral mindset:

At first, I was skeptical about the author’s claims to have witnessed and felt the presence of these divine deities. I am fairly open-minded but I just could not wrap my mind around this claim. However, once I started reading the book, I could easily side-step this concern of mine. The explanations to current events as well as historical events and the overall, dialogue of this book are so advanced that I felt that no normal human being could understand and bring this much clarity to these topics.

Things I liked:

Reading this book is like having a spiritual, uplifting, and peaceful experience. The author explains in simple yet vivid detail his many experiences where he felt the Goddesses’ presence. The book details many revelations, arguments, and prophecies that are so deep in their maturity that they cannot be conceived by an ordinary mind.

A “matriarchal world” does not mean matrilineal or that one queen shall rule the world. It simply means “a world in which a Mother’s Heart leads all social institutions, corporations, and governments.” All humans-men, women, or transgender-can embody a mother’s heart if they so choose. We are destined for extinction as a human race unless a mother’s heart assumes leadership of the world.”

A Thousand Seeds of Joy by Ananda Karunesh Book Quote

Professionally edited:

Beautifully written, this book is professionally edited and I didn’t find any major grammatical errors in the book.

Narration and reading ease:

The writing is fluid and had me engaged throughout. The chapters are planned in such a manner that makes it easy to read this book in parts. I completed one topic of conversation that had been covered in one part of the book. And then could easily take a break to mull over all the insights I had gained without breaking the flow of the dialogue.

Feminism aspects of this book:

I, especially, loved “The Feminine Wisdom of Mahabharata” and was astounded with the revelations. I have read this Hindu epic so many times and watched it on television numerous times but still, when I read this part of the book, it was like I was reading it for the first time. Maybe, this was because I truly understood the various aspects of the scripture for the first time!

The author’s take on balancing the feminine and the masculine sides of society is something readers will relate to.

As humans practice this divine feminine wisdom, it will allow them to experience life with less sorrow and despair, and more love and freedom.”

A Thousand Seeds of Joy by Ananda Karunesh Book Quote

Divine incarnations like Sita, Eve, Mary, Radha and Draupadi have always been showcased as women who, despite doing everything expected of them and making sacrifices, have struggled all their lives. Here the author presents them in a positive light and helped me understand their choices better. So, I understood that each choice has a consequence. Hence, they made their choice and then lived the consequences of their choice.

Conclusion:

While this book covers religious, spiritual and feminine topics, it is still a book that brings all religions together. So, I felt united, empowered and awakened after reading it and give A Thousand Seeds of Joy  5 out of 5 stars.
Njkinny recommends this unique and memorable book to everyone. This book tries to unite people and empower them regardless of their religious inclinations. So, the message from this book will benefit everyone.
