Romantic Bouncers by Ram Vignesh had me confused a little at the start. I was unable to decide if this was a story about cricket or about a romance or something else entirely. But when I started the book, I was pleasantly surprised. Ram gives the readers a story that has a little of everything. His writing style is simple, engaging and fluid.


The cover the attractive and the blurb is intriguing that had me picking up this book to read.


The plot is commonplace but it is the execution that lends it a unique touch. The author manages to separate his book from the other Indian romance novels flooding the market.


The characters are realistic and people I could connect with. Rabin’s interest in Cricket will make every Indian instantly connect with him because we all love this sport! LOL
His struggles are very real like and we all have faced these or similar problems in our lives.


The narration, dialogues and the pace of the story make the book an engaging one and had me engrossed till the end.


All in all, Romantic Bouncers is a book that I enjoyed reading and recommend it to everyone. A decent attempt by the author, this is a bouncer you should definitely tackle!
