#BookReview: Jenny (Beach Brides Series #5) by Melissa McClone
ARC Book Review:
Beach Brides series has become my favourite series and I have absolutely loved all the books read in this series so far. On a dare, twelve friends throw messages to their dream heroes in bottles out in the sea and each story brings us the romance of one out of the twelve friends.
This book is Jenny’s story and what a lovely story it is! Jenny Hanford’s message is found by Dare, a soldier and amidst carefree emails and texts their romance blossoms.
I love Melissa McClone’s witty and engaging narrative style and she impresses in this book too. I loved how she developed the characters. Both Jenny and Dare have had their share of hardships and so, don’t expect a relationship but when Dare is injured and asks for Jenny, their feelings for each other are tested.
The emails and text exchanges between Jenny and Dare are cleverly done and had me enjoying thoroughly. The jokes and easy friendship made these characters seem so real and highly satisfying like watching close friends getting to their happy ending.
I am intrigued by Jenny’s sister-in-law and hoping to read more about her in the future.
All in all, Jenny by Melissa McClone is another gem in the must-read Beach Brides series. Funny, engaging, clean with a happy ending, I strongly recommend this romance to everyone. 5 out of 5 stars to Jenny and hope to read more from the author in the future. I am eager to start on the next books in this beautifully threaded series and recommend you check it out too.
