Let’s start the interview.
Q1. Tell us something about
yourself.
Islamabad, Pakistan and have been in love with my city since then. I’ve had my
schooling here, my college and even my university, which I am still attending.
My bachelors in computer sciences finishes in about one and a half year and I’m
looking forward to stepping in my practical life then. I am a hopeless dreamer
and am quite proud of it as it helps me to visualize the situations and scenes
that I write about.
Love, Life and Everything Elseis a
collection of short stories, each having a moral behind them.
on the web, especially novels, but I believe the young generation should be
entertained with stories that are interesting and have a little bit of lesson
or moral behind it. Each story in the book is important and I have got
inspiration from various occasions which I have depicted in my stories.
learning experience you’ve seen through the process of seeing your book get
published?
authors I would never have read but I am thankful to have done so and shared my
experiences and theirs with myself.
while writing your book Love, Life and Everything Else
is almost a true story about an acquaintance. Writing about a real life person
is quite enjoyable for you have a clear visuals in your mind’s eye.

Q9. You have multiple personalities, describe some of them.
male protagonists and think like they must be thinking in the situations. That
helps me when I have to write their dialogues. I easily become them and that is
almost great.
antagonist and I can read their thoughts, one second I am the sweet and soft
spoken protagonist and then something just pricks me and I become the
aggressor.
in handy when we are working on a novel but in real life, they are bummer!
Q10. What is the best thing you have done in your life?
needy is what I count as the best thing I have done. Other things that we do, I
count them as material things.
Q11. What are your favorite hobbies?
sight? Does Prince Charming exist?
question. I strongly believe in love at first sight and indeed, prince charming
does exist but we all look for the wrong prince, not understanding that he is
right there in front of your eyes. All prince charming are not like the
cartoons or the movies.
If you had to describe yourself using three words, it would be…
interesting things about you that you dislike? What are the interesting things
about you that you like?
always wanted to be able to do one thing at a time but I am simply at a loss when
it comes to that.

An excerpt from Love, Life and Everything Else
:
Martha
was baking cookies for Sarah and Cindy when the doorbell rang. Cleaning her
hands on the apron she wore, she turned toward the front door. Unlatching it,
she looked at the man standing on their doorstep, clad in a Brook’s Brother
Suit, a matching Armani tie, and clean, shiny boots. Every inch of him depicted
wealth and Martha couldn’t understand what a man as rich as he was doing on
their doorstep.
“Mrs.
Sheffield?” he asked, offering his hand for a handshake.
“Yes?
Who are you?” she asked, taken aback.
“I am
William Brooke, senior attorney representing Mr. Michelson and currently
handling the case of his lost daughter.”
“I see.
How may I be of assistance to you?” she asked, completely at loss of why he was
here in the first place.
“Let’s
discuss that inside, Mrs. Sheffield. Shall we?”
“Sure.
Come in.” She opened the door wide for him to enter and then locked it

Guiding
him toward their drawing room, her mind set itself to work as to how they could
be connected to the disappearance of the town’s most illustrious and wealthy
man. They were a simple family, with limited resources, who had complete
confidence in each other. Why would they be connected to an atrocity such as this?
Sitting down on the chair opposite him, she looked at him expectantly.
“Do you
know this girl?” He took out a picture from the folder he was holding and from
one glance at the picture, her heart sank. It was the picture of her very own
Sarah.
“Yes.”
That was all she could say.
“Who is
she?” he asked, scrutinizing her closely.
“She’s
our daughter.”
Thanks Xunaira for making time for this interview… 🙂
All the best for your future endeavors! 🙂
