- My Review:
The Grey Witch tries her potions on her pet cat with disastrous results. Her visit to the school also ends in chaos but oh so much fun for the kids! 🙂
Similarly there is the Yellow Witch, the Blue Witch and the Orange Witch. All of them are down to earth witches who love children, are super friendly but also prone to committing mistakes that always end in chaos and some high drama which is so exciting and thrilling.
Diana Mitchell’s style of writing is very interactive and she beautifully narrates the blunders of the witches. She is able to hold and ignite the interest of the reader, whether he be a kid or an adult. I loved the beautiful illustrations by Susan which add more appeal to the stories. The bright and colorful color pencil sketches are eye catching and instantly attract a reader towards this book.
A story collection that every child will be able to relate with and enjoy, I give The Grey Witch And Other Stories a 4.5 out of 5. This is a great book for all kids which teaches as well as entertains. A great gift idea for small children, its not to be missed. 🙂
I received this book to read and review and I am very thankful to Diana Mitchell, Susan Whiting and Outskirts Press for sending and introducing me to this beautiful book. The above review is my honest and unbiased opinion and in no way influenced.
